LOS
GIGANTES
A
small town on the island of Tenerife in Spain,
belonging to the municipality of Santiago del
Teide.
In the village there are steep cliffs 600 meters
known as Acantilados de los Gigantes and the
yacht port. It is a tourist.
The city lives from tourism, is an ideal place
to relax with sunny beaches, hotels and
restaurants. Acantilados de los Gigantes (Cliffs
of the Giants) is extremely steep, 600-meter
high rock wall falling into the ocean on the
north side of the double spa. The sea at the
foot of the cliff is an exciting area to observe
underwater life, passionately explored by
divers.
Most spectacular cliff panorama stretches from
the sea (so there is no lack of cruises
organized by different carriers), as well as a
small, volcanic Playa de los Gigantes, otherwise
unattractive corner of the port of Los Gigantes
